RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication or in the case of My Auction Fix it is called Rich Site Summary, there are other feeds XML feeds or Atom.

These feeds contain frequently updated content from web sites. They can be used for blogs,digital content,pictures,audio or video.

You can use a feed to distribute the content.

You can even deliver audio content (usually MP3 format) that you can listen to on your computer or MP3 player. Often referred to as podcasting.

If a web site offers feeds you will see a little orange icon, often it has RSS on it or beside it.

Viewing feeds just takes a click on the icon and there you have it. You will usually have different content to chose from.

If you really like the content and would like to have it on your computer to view any time, subscribe to it.

Don’t worry it dosn’t cost a thing.
